Event: World Barista Championship 2017

UK's barista championship Dale Harris wins World Barista Championship 2017 in Seoul, South Korea.

60 National Baristas from around the world compete in this 4-day event organised by World Coffee Events. It was held in a huge building of COEX in the Gangnam district. Given the recent buzz of the area this truly gives the world a taste of the coffee craziness in Asia.

Enter the final round were 6 representative from Australia, Canada, Hong Kong, Japan, USA,  and the UK.

Dale Harris from Hasbean in Staffordshire, UK wins it all this year with oustanding performance. 

Competition this year is believed to be toughest in recent years, with many big name veterans in the game returning for the title, and a big and energetic crowd chanting all day long, pressure was high for everybody.

Dale beats all the competition and took home the title. It is UK's third World Champion since James Hoffman and Gwilym Davies won it all in 2007 and 2009.
